Beginning of a new Adventure

Matt K

Hello to those that are reading. I must say thank you so much for stopping by my little store that is still a work in progress. This new adventure started from one simple freshie that I received for my birthday from a very very dear friend of mine. It had been sitting in my fiancée truck for about a year while it was being worked on and I stumbled back a crossed it when the truck was brought home. the more I looked and studied it I thought to myself "I wander how hard these are to make?" so of course as soon as I came into the house I jumped on you tube and started looking them up and ran across a few lovely ladies with videos that were super helpful. After that I jumped on Amazon and ordered all the basic things needed to get started and the moment I made my first one and painted it all up... O my goodness I felt so.... yeah it was bad. Its not that it's not super easy but you have to figure out your temperature controls with in my case I use our regular oven. You have to make sure that you have that perfect bake that's not over cooked that you bake the scent out of them or under bake that the beads don't even melt and it all becomes very uneven. Don't get me started on the painting of them. My first ones that I started no joke looked like a group of kindergartners came in and had a hell Mary of a time in painting. All of a sudden I moved past all of the negative that was going on in my head because I had Matt in my ear telling me it all takes practice and a little bit of time. So as I kept going I kept learning from others and my painting got better. As it all goes on then Matt has invested into my idea and bought a 3D Printer, from there I we together were able to pick out STL files and print them out, then pour our silicone into them and vola we are and able to make our own molds. Again this part was also not easy to do. There are times that you mix the liquids together and one of three things can happen. First you un mold them and the silicone didn't solidify, or two it takes everything you have to unmold and you can't get it out so you end up ripping the silicone and ruining it or three it comes out perfectly as you planned. Granted I understand everything is a learning curve and so far this curve has been a lot of fun.  Besides trying to understand becoming a business woman I need to put my daughter in a bath and get her to bed. Hope to see and hear from you all with tomorrows writing with more info into the new adventure I have dove into.
